It has set up the country's first LNG receiving and regasification terminal at Dahej, Gujarat with present nominal capacity of 17.5 MMTPA and another terminal at Kochi, Kerala having a nominal capacity of 5 MMTPA. The Company had set up South East Asia's first LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal with an original nameplate capacity of 5 MMTPA at Dahej, Gujarat. The infrastructure was developed in the shortest possible time and at a benchmark cost. The capacity of the terminal has been expanded in phases which is currently 17.5 MMTPA and the same is under expansion to 22.5 MMTPA in two phases. The terminal has 6 LNG storage tanks and other vaporization facilities. The terminal is meeting around 40% of the total gas demand of the country

- Growth in Profit Before Tax (PBT) of the current quarter Q 3, FY 2020-21 (Rs 1,172 Cr) over the corresponding quarter Q3, FY 2019-20 (Rs 902 Cr) by 30%
- Growth in Profit After Tax (PAT) of the current quarter Q3, FY 2020-21 (Rs 878 Cr) over the corresponding quarter Q3, FY 2019-20 (Rs 675 Cr) by 30%
- Highest ever PBT of Rs 3,112 Cr in nine months
During the quarter ended 31st December, 2020 (current quarter), Dahej terminal processed
222 TBTU of LNG, as against 222 TBTU processed during the corresponding quarter (Q3, FY 2019-20). In the previous quarter (Q2, FY 2020-21), 243 TBTU of LNG was processed. The overall LNG volume processed by the Company in the current quarter was 235 TBTU, as against 233 TBTU processed in the corresponding quarter. In the previous quarter, LNG volume processed was 254 TBTU.
During the nine months ended 31st December, 2020 (current period), Dahej terminal processed 645 TBTU of LNG as against 679 TBTU processed during the corresponding period . The overall LNG volume processed by the Company in the current period was 677
TBTU, as against the LNG volume processed in the corresponding period of 708 TBTU.
The Company has reported PBT of Rs 1,172 Crore in the current quarter, as against Rs 902
Crore in the corresponding quarter. In the previous quarter, PBT was Rs 1,243 Crore. PAT for the current quarter has been at Rs 878 Cr as against PAT of the corresponding quarter which stood at Rs 675 Crore. PAT of the previous quarter was Rs 927 Crore.
The Company has reported highest ever PBT of Rs 3,112 Crore in the current nine months end ed 31st December, 2020 (current period), as against Rs 2,625 Crore in the corresponding period . The PAT for the current period has been at Rs 2,326 Cr as against the PAT of the corresponding period of Rs 2,339 Crore.
The strong financial results for the quarter ended 31st December 2020 was achieved due to resurgence of demand to pre-COVID 19 level, operational efficiency and effective commercial planning by the Company.
