Ø Highest ever quantity of LNG processed at Dahej Terminal in FY 2018-19 at 820 TBTU

During FY 2018-19, the Company's Dahej Terminal operated at 107% of its name plate capacity and processed highest ever LNG quantities of 820 TBTU, as against the 816 TBTU of LNG quantities processed in FY 2017-18. The overall quantities processed by the Company in FY 2018-19 was 844 TBTU as compared to 848 TBTU processed in FY 2017-18.

During the quarter ended 31st March, 2019 (current quarter), Dahej terminal operated at around 104% of its name plate capacity and processed 199 TBTU of LNG as against 197 TBTU processed during the previous quarter and 207 TBTU processed during the corresponding quarter. The overall LNG volume processed by the Company in the current quarter was 205 TBTU, as against the LNG volume processed in the previous and corresponding quarter, which stood at 202 TBTU and 213 TBTU respectively.

The Company registered highest ever PBT of Rs 3,234 Crore in FY 2018-19, which stood at Rs 3,055 Crore in the corresponding period, witnessing a growth of 6%. PAT for FY 2018-19 was Rs 2,155 Cr, which stood at Rs 2,078 Cr in FY 2017-18, registering a growth of 4%.

The Company has reported PBT of Rs 655 Crore in the current quarter, as against Rs 811 Crore in the previous quarter and Rs 791 Crore in the corresponding quarter. The PAT for the current quarter was reported at Rs 440 Cr as against the PAT of the previous quarter and corresponding quarter i.e. Rs 565 Crore and Rs 523 Crore respectively.

The increase in profit over the corresponding FY 2017-18, is due to higher volumes processed at the Dahej Terminal and better efficiency in operations.

The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of Rs. 4.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each ( 45%) for the FY 2018-19 subject to the approval of the shareholders.
