  • Highest ever profit of Rs 1,235 Cr over nine months period ending 31st December, 2016
  • Commissioning of expansion of Dahej Terminal from 10 MMTPA to 15 MMTPA
During the quarter ended 31st Dec, 2016 (current quarter), the Company's Dahej terminal has operated at around 98% of its increased name plate capacity. The expansion of Dahej Terminal from 10 MMTPA to 15 MMTPA was commissioned in October, 2016.The volume of 187 TBTU regasified at the Dahej terminal in the current quarter is marginal increase over the previous quarter ended 30th September 2016 and 36% increase over the corresponding quarter ended 31st December 2015. Kochi terminal handled 4 TBTUs of LNG along with the reload services during the current quarter, primarily serving two consumers in the vicinity of the terminal i.e., Kochi refinery and FACT.

The Company has reported profit after tax of Rs 397 Crore in the current quarter which is an increase of 133% over the corresponding quarter (i.e. Rs 171 Crore). The significant increase in profit over the corresponding quarter ended 31st December 2015 is due to higher volumes processed and better efficiency achieved in the operations

. The Company registered the highest ever profit of Rs 1,235 Cr over the nine months period ending on 31st December, 2016, which stood at Rs 668 Cr in the corresponding period, witnessing a growth of 85%. In the past, the highest ever PAT for any complete Financial Year has been reported at Rs 1,149 Cr.

EPC Contract for LNG Regasification facility under further expansion of Dahej LNG terminal from 15 MMTPA to 17.50 MMTPA was awarded by the company in July, 2016 and work is under progress as scheduled.
